Instructional Coach

Coaching Purpose and Duties

By using the student centered coaching model, the coach will:

• Access data and utilize it to improve student progress through coaching cycles and professional development

• Provide resources and support for all staff (aides, paras, etc.)

• Coordinate training and professional development with administrators

• Conduct coaching cycles with a pre and post conferences and classroom observation 

• Maintain confidentiality with staff

• Utilize a shared calendar to structure time

• Engage in ongoing professional development in coaching practices and content areas
