Dear Woodland Family,
We hope everyone is safe and following the guidelines set out to protect yourselves against COVID-19. We miss our Woodland students! During our school closure, our custodial staff is deep cleaning the building. Teachers are setting up ways parents/guardians can help their child(ren) maintain all the grade-level skills they learned this year.
Please look for communication from your child’s(ren’s) teacher by 10 a.m. Monday, March 30th. They will be reaching out to you to see who has technology devices to use remotely on classroom websites or if you need paper-pencil packets that will be available at school. If a parent needs to pick up packet(s) they will be available on Tuesday, March 31st from 12:00-4:00 in the school office.
All Woodland teachers are eager to make contact with their students and will be reaching out via parents' email. Our commitment is to sustain all the academic progress your kiddos have made this year and we hope these activities/packets will help them practice what they have learned. Be mindful that students do not have to complete the activities in one setting. Pace their time with the activity and be creative. Don’t forget to have students do physical, musical and creative art activities. You will find many resources on our webpages.
Again, please be safe and know we miss you all! Starting April 1st staff will be available remotely for students and parents to contact them from 8:30-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m. You can also contact any staff at the school using our webpage to connect to their emails.
