Woodland First Graders went on a study trip to Dull's Tree Farm. Students have been studying the Pumpkin Life Cycle and it was a great opportunity to see this brought to life!
They also got an introduction to corn production and the uses for the corn we see in the fields around our school. Students were able to see products made from what the corn farmers grow. Some of the products were: Pepsi, frosted flakes, marshmallows, and even diapers!
Students were able to see the stages of the Pumpkin Life Cycle, learn about corn production, go on a hayride and even pick out a pumpkin to bring back with them! What a great, fun-filled day at Dull's Tree Farm!
